Welcome to the fifth annual Sunshine State Decorative Artists Retreat, "Come Paint With Us". This year the Board Members promise you a wonderful time. You will have an opportunity to meet and share experiences and ideas with fellow painters from many states. Meet and greet new and old friends and create memories you will long remember. Attendees must be a member in good standing of SDP. SSDA annual dues $10.00. You will owe $10.00 for 2009 if you were a member last year or $20.00 for 2008 and 2009 if you are a new member. We have selected classes in acrylics, oils, watercolor, decorative paste, fabric, and puff paint. We should have something for everyone. During the retreat, we will have One FREE class that everyone can take. You will need to bring a project piece 7x7 or larger. Our retreat is being held at Dayspring Episcopal Training Center in Ellenton/Parrish, Florida. It is located just south of Tampa and north of Sarasota. Dayspring has a very peaceful setting with a large main lodge, cabins, dorms, and homes, all nestled on the north bank of the Manatee River. Space is limited so please register right away. You can arrange to make monthly payments if you would like. Cancellation before January 31, 2009 will be subject to $25.00 cancellation fee. Hand-Painted Gift Exchange We will have a gift exchange among attendees. The gift you bring to exchange must be HAND-PAINTED, have a value of at least $25.00 or more and fit in a brown paper bag or two. ALL ITEMS MUST BE SIGNED. The committee will be checking each item for a signature, put in a brown paper bag and list all participants. If you bring one, you will receive one. |
