PHILANTHROPIC

PAINT-A-THON Saturday, November 19! Was a big success. Lots of boxes were painted for kids. We look forward to the next one. Want to help? Call Carol Hechler.
You may bring in as many boxes as you want all year long. Give them to Gini Conn or Carol Hechler. Cute animals and children's themes are the best designs.
Left: Ellen and Rosalie helped by painting and cleaning lots and lots of brushes
Left: Pat Landry former NCDA President joins in.
For the label to attach inside box cover, click here. It opens as an adobe acrobat file. At our meeting we had a representative from the Shriner's to accept some boxes. He explained the program and the work Shriner's does. A photo was taken for SDP Decorative painter.
There was a photo display and boxes with packets of paint for those who would take and paint more boxes. They are so appreciated that there are more hospitals now embracing the program.

To see the SDP page go to SDP site, then painting programs, then treasure boxes. or click here
